#hardcover2024

#hardcover2024 Project submission page

Welcome to #hardcover2024, a new chapter in the journey that started in 2019 with the first volume and ended with the third volume in 2021. Since then a lot has happened and aside from the small issue of a full-blown pandemic, everyone had their ups and downs, and working on an erotic publication hasn't really been the top priority of anyone.

That being said, we are happy to return to a publication that meant so much to so many, has meant the start of a career to some and to others trying out a different direction in their art journey, and of course, pissed up so many Christians (the messages were delicious).

In the spirit of fighting censorship of the nipple on social media, we will again gather over 100 artists and collect a plethora of erotic art. With #hardcover2024 it will be the same as with #hardcover3, and we include artistic nudity together with (bluntly put) full-blown pornography.

IMPORTANT! This time the book has a topic!

What is different this time is that we are including a topic: role-play. Your work must reflect that topic in some way, being either pen and paper (like Dungeons & Dragons), "sex stuff" meaning role play as in nurses, dom/sub, or whatever you want to make of it (we are obviously not including ageplay). We keep the topic pretty generalized on purpose as we want to give you all some wiggle room. For any unclarity or questions, feel free to reach out through Discord (link below at "Other Info") and we will gladly help and also do early reviews of your piece if you feel unsure.

Stay tuned, and in case you don't want to miss the launch of the submission phase, just subscribe to my newsletter.

That's it for now :)

Edit March 2024:
I am so glad to announce the return of Superani to the new #hardover2024! As many of you know they have been an integral part of our past publications, and Hyun Jin just let me know that together with a posthumous addition of the great Kim Jung Gi, other Superani members will join the lineup of the new book. For that reason, we extended the deadline to the 30th of April 2024.

What we’ll need from you

  1. One or two artworks (do not send multiple images to choose from) each artist can have two pages to fill (optional)
  2. JPG format, 300dpi,
    Vertical A4 (297 x 210 mm | 11.7 x 8.3 inches) + 3 mm all-around bleed, RGB
    Horizontal (260 x 395 mm | 10.2 x 15.5 inches) + 3 mm all-around bleed, RGB
Please mind that the double spread has a fold right in the middle and consider that in your composition!
  3. We accept digital and traditional 2D and 3D art and also Photography
  4. Fill in the details of the submission form
  5. If you have some, please include sketches and WIP images.

Deadline (updated on March 2024)

Submit your work before the 30th of April 2024,  8 p.m. (CEST) using the form below.
The deadline was extended due to the announced participation of Superani!

Do not!

  1. Please do not send us artwork depicting non-consent, underage characters, or gore, not even suggestive.
  2. Please do not send us fanart.
  3. Don’t join this book if your personal views as a person and artist marginalize other fellow humans. We have no space for homophobes, sexists, racists, xenophobes, or any kind of prejudiced individuals and their bigoted ideas. The book's content will be diverse and this is the only way it should be.
  4. Please don’t send us artwork that has been published anywhere else. It can be old work but then still it has to be unseen material. If the contrary is found out along the way, it will be pulled from the publication. If you want to post about your contribution on social media, do not share it unless it is cropped to only show 25% of it as a preview. We believe that before the publication the content should be exclusive and whatever is fully shared before, will be curated by the book's creators for promotion.
  5. Complete or partial, we don't care: Absolutely no AI imagery is allowed in the book!
